Our affiliate relationships

Is It Visible participates in affiliate programs operated by third-party providers. These partnerships allow us to earn a commission when you click certain links on our website and complete a qualifying purchase or booking. We may add additional affiliate partners over time and will update this page accordingly.

How we choose what to recommend

We recommend tours, transport, passes, and lodging that we believe genuinely fit our audience's needs: visitors planning to see Mt. Fuji, Mt. Rainier, or other landmarks our visibility tool covers.

Affiliate commission is never the primary factor in what we feature. When we don't have a quality option in a category, we leave the slot off rather than fill it with a weak recommendation. The visibility forecasts, methodology, and editorial choices on this site are made independently and are not influenced by commission rates or partner pressure.

How affiliate links are marked

Every affiliate placement on this site includes:

• A clear visual section header (such as “Planning your Mt. Fuji trip?”) that signals the section is a curated list of partner offerings.
• An inline disclosure line under each affiliate block: “Affiliate links: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”
• The rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" HTML attribute on every outbound affiliate link, aligned with search-engine and FTC guidance.

Programs we currently participate in

Klook Partners, affiliate ID 120845. Klook deeplinks on this site identify us via the aid=120845 parameter (and optionally aff_adid=XXXXX per product placement).

We are evaluating additional affiliate programs (including Booking.com, Trip.com, GetYourGuide, Agoda, and Rakuten Travel) and will list each one here as we begin using their links.

Independence

Is It Visible is an independently operated site. We are not owned by, nor do we receive editorial direction from, any of the affiliate programs we participate in. Our visibility data, weather methodology, and the choice of what landmarks to cover are made independently of any commercial partnership.
